About 10×10

10x10 is a strategic puzzle game that challenges you to fit varying block shapes onto an empty 10x10 grid. Without the falling pressure of traditional block games, you can take your time to plan each placement carefully. Whenever a full row or column is filled with blocks, it vanishes, clearing up much-needed space on the board.

The pacing is completely up to you, but the board quickly becomes crowded as the game progresses. You are given three shapes at a time, and you must find a spot for all of them before receiving a new batch. The run ends when you are handed a shape that simply cannot fit anywhere on the remaining grid.

Controls

  • Mouse or Touch: Click and hold to drag a block from the bottom of the screen onto the grid. Release to drop it into place.

Tips

  • Prepare for the 3x3: The largest block in the game is a massive 3x3 square. Always try to keep at least one open area of this size, or a 3x3 shape will instantly end your run.
  • Clear Lines Constantly: Unlike games that reward huge combos for clearing multiple lines at once, survival is your main priority here. Clear single or double lines whenever possible to maintain a flexible board.
  • Work from the Corners: Building solidly out from the corners helps prevent creating awkward single-tile gaps that are difficult to fill later.

10×10 FAQ

Can you rotate blocks in 10x10?

What happens if a piece does not fit?
If you are given a block that cannot be placed anywhere on the current grid, the game ends immediately. Keeping the board as clear as possible is crucial.
Is there a time limit?
There are no timers or falling blocks in 10x10. You can take as much time as you need to think about where to drop your next piece.
