Wood Blocks 3D is a block-fitting puzzle from InfinityGames.io that drops the timer and lets you think. Three wooden pieces sit at the bottom of the screen; you drag each one onto a grid, and clearing a full row or column sends it away with a satisfying wooden clunk. There's no countdown pushing you, just the slow tightening squeeze of a board that fills up if you place carelessly.
The tension comes from the shapes themselves: the game never lets you rotate a piece by hand, so an L-block that doesn't fit anywhere useful has to be worked around rather than turned. A run ends the moment none of your three current pieces can land anywhere on the grid, which makes the last few placements of a long game the ones that actually matter.
Controls
Drag and drop each piece onto the grid with the mouse on desktop, or with a finger on phone and tablet. A power-up is available in-game to discard a stuck piece or rotate one when you're boxed in.
Tips
- Clear lines near the edges first — pieces are easier to place when the center of the board stays open.
- Look at all three pieces before committing to the first one; placing the awkward shape last often costs you the game.
- Leave a full empty row or column in reserve for the big 3x3 and long-rectangle pieces, which have nowhere else to go once the board tightens up.
It runs straight in the browser, no install needed, and suits short sessions as easily as a long, unhurried one.
