Tomb of the Mask: Color takes the original Tomb of the Mask's slide-until-you-hit-something movement and turns it into a painting puzzle. Swipe a direction and your masked character shoots off in a straight line, leaving a trail of color behind it, and doesn't stop until it hits a wall.
The goal on each of the game's maze levels isn't to reach an exit — it's to paint every tile the maze contains before you run out of room to move. That turns simple directional sliding into a real planning problem: one careless swipe can wall yourself into a corner with tiles still left uncolored, so clearing a maze cleanly usually takes a few failed attempts first.
Controls
Swipe or use the arrow keys to slide in a direction — your character keeps moving until it hits a wall or obstacle. Press R to restart a level if you get stuck.
Tips
- Look at the whole maze before your first move. Since you can't stop mid-slide, plan a route that paints corners and dead ends early, while you still have room to maneuver around them.
- Save narrow one-tile gaps for last — sliding into them is the easiest way to get stuck with unpainted tiles you can no longer reach.
- Treat spikes and bombs as walls you can't touch, not walls you can slide into — a hit ends the attempt, so route around them rather than trying to time a pass.
It suits players who like short, replayable puzzle levels over reflex-heavy action — each maze is a self-contained logic problem, and there are 100 of them to work through.
