Tomb of the Mask Game

Tomb of the Mask is an endless, high-speed arcade game where you navigate through vertical, procedurally generated labyrinths. You play as an explorer who finds a mysterious golden mask that grants the ability to dash instantly from wall to wall. The catch is that an ever-rising wave of deadly liquid is constantly chasing you from the bottom of the screen, forcing you to think and react in fractions of a second.

Every move sends your character flying in a straight line until they collide with a surface, leaving a trail of color behind them. Surviving means weaving through narrow passages lined with spikes, avoiding patrolling enemies, and dodging laser beams—all while trying to collect dots and coins scattered throughout the maze to rack up a high score and unlock new masks.

Controls

• Arrow Keys or WASD: Dash up, down, left, or right. Your character will not stop until hitting a wall.

Tips

• Look before you leap: While speed is crucial, spamming directions can easily land you directly on a spike trap. Try to mentally map out a two or three-dash path before executing the sequence.
• Prioritize survival over coins: Going out of your way for a few coins often isn't worth the risk of being caught by the rising hazard below. Stick to the main upward path unless you are confident in your speed.
• Buffer your moves: You don't have to wait for your character to completely stop moving to input the next direction. Pressing the key early allows you to instantly corner and keep your momentum up.
