Protect My Dog is an engaging physics-based puzzle game where your creative drawing skills are the only barrier between a cute canine and a swarm of angry bees. The core loop is straightforward: each level presents you with a dog, some environmental obstacles, and one or more active beehives. Your goal is to sketch a single, continuous line to create a shield that blocks the bees and keeps the pup safe from harm.
A typical round is fast-paced and filled with suspense. The moment you release your mouse button or lift your finger from the screen, the drawing turns into a physical object subject to gravity, and the bees emerge to aggressively push, wedge, and swarm against your defenses. You must hold out for a tense ten-second countdown. As you progress, the puzzles introduce hazards like spikes, lava, and multiple dogs, making each quick session a delightful test of spatial logic and quick thinking.
Controls
- Mouse Click and Drag (Desktop): Draw the protective shield on the screen.
- Touch and Drag (Mobile/Tablet): Draw the barrier directly with your finger.
- Note: You must complete your defensive structure in a single continuous stroke, as releasing the input instantly triggers the bee swarm.
Tips
- Anchor Your Lines: Draw hooks around the surrounding terrain, pegs, or platforms. This prevents the bees from physically pushing your shield off the platform or into hazards.
- Embrace Stability: Make sure your drawn structures are well-balanced. An off-center roof will quickly slide off the dog's head under the weight of the swarming bees.
- Conserve Your Ink: You have a limited ink budget for each level. The shorter and more efficient your protective line, the higher the star rating you will earn upon completion.
- Form Tight Seals: Bees are tiny and persistent. If you leave even a small gap between your line and the ground, they will find their way inside to sting the dog.
