About Ping Pong

Ping Pong is a fast-paced, browser-based sports game that brings the classic table tennis experience straight to your screen. Facing off against an adaptive AI opponent, your goal is to defend your side of the table and score by driving the ball past the opponent's paddle. Each match is a quick race to ten points, demanding sharp reflexes and quick decision-making.

The game features responsive ball physics that reward precise timing. By adjusting the speed of your paddle at the moment of impact, you can execute fast drives or tricky angled returns. Each successful volley increases the ball's velocity, turning long rallies into intense tests of concentration and hand-eye coordination.

Controls

Desktop: Move your mouse cursor vertically to position the paddle. The paddle tracks your cursor's vertical position automatically to block and return shots.

Mobile/Tablet: Touch and drag your finger up and down on the screen to slide the paddle.

Tips

  • Play the Angles: Hit the ball with the upper or lower edges of your paddle to send it back at sharp, difficult angles that the AI cannot easily reach.
  • Accelerate the Rally: Slide your paddle rapidly into the ball at the moment of contact to add extra speed to your return, catching the opponent off guard.
  • Position Early: As the speed increases, try to return to the center of your baseline after each shot so you are equally prepared for high or low returns.
