Fluffball puts you in control of a small, round, slippery ball of fluff that has to roll its way across each level to reach the finish tile. There is no jump button and nothing to attack with — the whole game comes down to nudging the ball carefully around spikes, treadmills, disappearing tiles and patrolling purple enemies without sliding off the edge, since most levels have no border to catch you.
The ball's momentum is the real opponent. Mud patches slow it down, treadmills push it sideways, and a level that looks easy at a glance can send you off the map if you tap a direction a moment too late. Along the way you can nudge the ball over gems, which unlock further levels rather than just adding to a score.
Controls
- Arrow keys or WASD — move the fluffball
Tips
- Tap directions in short bursts rather than holding them down — the ball keeps sliding after you let go, and overcorrecting is what sends most runs off the edge.
- Slow down before treadmill and mud sections; both change how the ball handles, and carrying speed into them is a common way to lose control.
- Watch the patrol pattern of the purple enemies before moving — they walk fixed horizontal or vertical paths, so timing a crossing is safer than rushing through.
- Grabbing every gem isn't required to finish a level, but it's worth circling back for once you know a layout, since gems unlock further levels.
Fluffball suits players who like short, precision-platforming challenges they can restart instantly — each level is small enough to retry in seconds, but unforgiving enough that careless movement ends the run.
