Eat.io drops you into a bustling city with a simple goal: consume everything in sight. You start as a small black hole, barely large enough to swallow a fire hydrant. By moving around the map and eating objects, your hole grows in diameter, allowing you to absorb progressively larger items like cars, trees, and eventually entire skyscrapers.
It is a competitive multiplayer race against the clock. As you grow, you also become a threat to players on the map. If your black hole is larger than an opponent's, you can swallow them whole to gain a massive size boost, but you must constantly watch out for even bigger players trying to do the same to you.
Controls
- Mouse or Touch: Click and drag, or swipe on the screen, to steer your black hole.
Tips
- Start small and fast: In the first few seconds, focus entirely on dense clusters of small items like fences and streetlights. Ignoring players early on is the fastest way to build your base size.
- Trap your targets: When you are large enough to eat players, try herding them toward the edges of the map where they cannot easily escape your pull.
