Game Modes

Dominoes Classic features three traditional game modes, each offering a unique way to play:

• Draw Dominoes: The standard mode where players take turns matching tiles. If you do not have a playable tile in your hand, you must draw new ones from the boneyard until you find a match.
• Block Dominoes: A tighter version where there is no boneyard. If you cannot place a tile on your turn, you must pass, making hand management and blocking your opponents crucial.
• All Fives (Muggins): A highly strategic mode where you score points during the round. Points are awarded whenever the total number of pips on the open ends of the domino chain adds up to a multiple of five.

Controls

Play with simple, intuitive controls suited for both desktop and mobile platforms:

• Mouse (Desktop): Click and drag a tile from your hand to place it on the board, or simply tap a tile and click the highlighted target spot. Click on menu buttons to adjust options.
• Touch (Mobile/Tablet): Tap and drag tiles with your finger, or tap a tile and select its destination on the screen.

Tips for Winning matches

• Keep your options open: Try to keep a diverse set of numbers in your hand so you rarely have to pass or draw from the boneyard.
• Block your opponents: Pay attention to the tiles your opponents play. If you notice they lack a certain number, try to play tiles that leave that number on the open ends to force them to draw or pass.
• Play high-value tiles early: Getting rid of high-pip dominoes early in the game reduces the penalty points you receive if another player blocks the game or empties their hand first.
