About Blob Drop

Blob Drop is a watermelon-style merge puzzle: you drop blobs into a cup one at a time, and whenever two blobs of the same size touch, they combine into the next size up. There's no timer and no combat, just the cup slowly filling while you decide where each drop lands.

The tension comes from the cup itself. Every blob you don't merge takes up permanent space, and once one spills over the rim, the run ends. A good session is really a balancing act between clearing space now and setting up a bigger merge two or three drops later.

Controls

  • Move the mouse to aim the blob left and right
  • Click to drop it into the cup

Tips

  • Keep same-size blobs grouped along one side instead of scattering them, so a single new drop can trigger a bigger chain merge
  • Don't drop on reflex — the small blobs are cheap to place badly, but a poorly placed large blob can block an entire column
  • Leave one corner clear as a buffer for whatever size comes next; running out of open space is what actually ends a run, not any single bad drop

Blob Drop is by solo developer Eray Zesen, and plays fine on both desktop and mobile since the only input is aim-and-click.

What are the controls for Blob Drop?

Who made Blob Drop?
Blob Drop is an independent game by developer Eray Zesen.
