About Microwars

Microwars is a minimalist, fast-paced real-time strategy game where you command a network of nodes to defeat opposing armies. Your objective is simple but challenging: seize control of every base on the map. You start with a single active node that continuously generates small cellular units. By routing these units toward neutral or hostile nodes, you can claim new structures, boost your generation rate, and eventually overwhelm your opponents.

Each level unfolds as a rapid tug-of-war. Sending units out to attack leaves your own bases temporarily vulnerable, forcing you to constantly weigh aggressive expansion against solid defense. With simple visuals and short, intense rounds, the game turns complex tactical decisions into quick, satisfying decisions that keep you on your toes.

Controls

  • Select & Send: Click and drag (or tap and drag on touchscreens) from your node to a target node to deploy your units.
  • Select All: Double-click on one of your nodes to select all your active bases, allowing you to launch a massive combined strike.

Tips

  • Target Neutral Bases First: Grab unoccupied nodes early in the match to quickly build up your unit production capacity without early conflict.
  • Maintain a Defensive Reserve: Never leave your front-line nodes completely empty. Keep a small force behind to absorb sudden enemy counter-attacks.
  • Upgrade at the Right Time: Focus on upgrading nodes that are safely behind your lines or critical chokepoints to ensure a steady stream of reinforcements.
