Blocky Blast Puzzle Game

Blocky Blast Puzzle takes the classic block-fitting formula and turns it into a relaxed but engaging brain-teaser. You are given an 8x8 grid and a steady supply of various shapes. Your goal is simply to drag and drop these blocks onto the board to form complete rows or columns. Once a line is completely filled, it blasts away, freeing up space for your next moves.

The challenge comes from the lack of gravity or time limits—you can place blocks anywhere they fit, but you have to plan ahead. If the board fills up and you cannot place any of the three shapes in your current hand, your run is over. It is the kind of session that feels effortless for the first few minutes, right until you realize you have boxed yourself into a corner.

Controls

This is played entirely with the mouse or touch screen. Click and hold (or tap and hold) on a block shape at the bottom of the screen, drag it to your desired spot on the grid, and release to drop it into place.

Tips

• Keep the board open: Always try to leave a large 3x3 or 4x4 area completely empty. The game loves to give you massive square blocks when you least expect them.
• Clear multiple lines: While clearing single lines keeps you alive, setting up the board to clear two or three lines with a single piece yields a much higher score.
• Do not force pieces: If a piece fits perfectly but closes off a vital section of the board, consider placing it elsewhere. Prioritize keeping your options open.
