Adam and Eve: Astronaut sends the series' prehistoric hero somewhere new: stranded as an astronaut on modern-day Earth after an accidental trip through time. His space shuttle is grounded without a motor, and getting it back means picking through an unfamiliar world one clue at a time.
Like the rest of the Adam and Eve games, this is a point-and-click puzzle adventure rather than a reflex game. You click and drag your way through each stage, examining objects, picking up items, and combining them to open up the next area. Nothing is timed, so the pace is set by how carefully you look rather than how fast you react.
Controls
Play entirely with the mouse — click to interact with objects and characters, and drag and drop items where they're needed. On phones and tablets, tap and drag do the same job.
Tips
- Click on everything in a scene before moving on — the item you need is often something easy to overlook, not the most obvious object.
- If you're stuck, revisit earlier areas; a new item in your inventory can unlock something you couldn't use before.
- Progress is stage by stage, so there's no penalty for taking your time to examine a scene fully.
It's a good pick for a relaxed session of puzzle-solving rather than fast action, and it works equally well on a quick break or a longer sit-down session.
