About Zuma Boom

Zuma Boom drops you behind a fixed cannon in the middle of the board, facing down a snaking line of colored marbles crawling toward the exit. Fire a marble into the chain to match three or more of the same color and pop them; let the chain reach the end and it's game over. There's no wandering around a level — just aim, shoot, and read the chain fast enough to keep breaking it apart before it runs out of track.

The tension comes from timing: every shot you take also gives the chain a chance to add another marble, so trigger-happy shooting can backfire. Reading a few marbles ahead to set up a bigger chain reaction, and saving a shot to break up a dangerous color cluster, matters more than raw speed. Occasional time-freezing marbles pause the chain entirely, giving you a breather to clear the marbles piling up near the front.

Controls

  • Mouse: aim with the cursor, left-click to fire
  • Touch: tap and hold to aim, release to shoot
  • Spacebar or the on-screen swap icon: switch to your next marble

Tips

  • Shoot into the middle of a same-color run rather than the end — splitting a cluster clears more marbles per shot than tacking one onto it.
  • Hold a shot back when nothing lines up cleanly; firing blind just adds a marble to a chain that's already close to the exit.
  • Save time-freeze marbles for moments the chain is about to reach the end, not the first one you see.

A good fit for short sessions where you want a puzzle that rewards a steady eye more than fast reflexes.
